This 15,000 square foot community garden is located on the North Seattle Community College campus and is the first Seattle P-Patch to be developed on Washington State-owned land. Our Studio led the community group and college participants through three public meetings, evaluating the site, developing a custom program and providing multiple concept designs for critique and evaluation. It was important to the design team and the community group to preserve existing significant trees, apply sustainable practices and use recycled materials in the final garden design.
